Acts of Kindness for Mental Health: The AOK Project and City Running Tours Vancouver are getting ready for a COVID-safe fundraiser run on Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th.
MEETING PLACE IS IN FRONT OF THE TELUS WORLD OF SCIENCE. 1455 QUEBEC STREET, VANCOUVER
This running tour through Vancouver’s downtown is geared for locals, not tourists. The running tour focuses on multiple themes, from public art to social justice. We run through some gritty areas of the inner city as well as parts of False Creek. We examine some interesting areas in Chinatown and Gastown. The 10km pass by quickly even though we run at a very relaxed and comfortable pace with many stops for interpretation along the way. It will last about 90 minutes.
Registration is $50 per runner. 100% of proceeds go to The AOK Project.
To keep participants safe, limited spots are available per day. A waitlist will be created if the limit is reached. Strict social distancing will be practiced. Registration below by filling out the form and
