Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) teams provide a range of mental health assessment and treatment options for children, youth and their families at no cost. Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGA)
Family Services offers professional, compassionate counselling and trauma services to individuals, and their families in Vancouver, Richmond, and New Westminster. FSGA has a counsellors who are professionally trained therapists in clinical social work and psychology. There is no fee for access, however you may require a referral from a social worker. The Kids Help Phone is a counselling, referral and support service for children and youth under the age of 20 years old. Professional counsellors provide immediate and caring support to young people who are dealing with a problem, making a hard decision, or concerned with feelings or mood.
